Yesterday was my first day of Tae kwon do… I am finally sick of constantly looking over my shoulder and gripping my pepper spray, of feeling like a target everywhere I go simply because I’m a woman. Enough of this. I’ll show them.

I’ve take the time out to walk to a destination with my phone put away. It’s incredible. The beauty that surrounds us, yet we don’t even realize because of our technological dependence. What have we done? Kids can’t even hold a face to face conversation and eye contact is non-existent. I’m personally sorry now for our generations communication skills and appreciation of nature or therefore lack of.
